As March begins and Spring gets closer, that means we’re drawing nearer and nearer to the end of Ski Season. Which also means, all the Up North Ski Resorts are prepping for their Spring Carnivals, Slush Cups, and Celebrations to end their season!
I haven’t been in the ski and snowboard scene since high school (I was never very good at it… just did it because my friends did) but one thing that I always loved and looked forward to was the end of the season celebrations! Things like the Slush Cups were the best to watch and the Carnivals were always so much fun! So get ready to plan one final weekend on the slopes… because the end of the ski season will be here in the blink of an eye!
Let’s start with my favorite resort! Every weekend in March is a B-I-G deal at Crystal Mountain. Every weekend is a special, fun filled theme, to make the most of their last few weeks of snow.
Spring Carnival: Head to the Spring Carnival next weekend, March 10th! I’ve been to this before and I can promise you, it’s so much fun! The slush cup, the cardboard race and a free slope side concert are the PERFECT way to spend your Saturday! There’s a ton more going on that weekend at the Mountain too. Find out more here.
Other notable weekends in March? Celts and Kayaks, Retro Weekend and Ski Free/ Easter Celebration Weekend! See all the fun here, and book your stay here!
Easily one of Michigan’s best resorts, Boyne Mountain has zero shortage of fun to end their ski season. Just like Crystal, there are events every weekend, but the thing I love about Boyne is that they dedicate one weekend just to the littlest ones in your life!
Kids Festival: Head to the Kids Festival next weekend, March 9th-11th. There is literally so much fun going on, that your babes won’t want to come home! From a silly slalom, to a rock wall, a seal slide to an inflatable obstacle course, your kids will be entertained the entire weekend! Check out the entire schedule of events here.
Don’t have any little ones yet? Head to Boyne for their Carnival Weekend over St. Patty’s Day! Think slush cup and alcohol. Learn more here, and book your getaway here!
Other Spring Events At Your Favorite Ski Hills
Spring Carnival at Caberfae Peaks (March 17th)
Mardi Gras at Nubs Nob (March 17th)
Annual Beach Day at Mount Holly (March 11th)
So my friends, will you be booking a weekend getaway to enjoy the snow one last time?!
Sorry this post is short and sweet. Today is a v. busy day. Think work, getting our taxes done, and finally THE MOST DRAMATIC FINALE IN BACHELOR HISTORY! Eeeek! I’m so excited. Is it 8 pm yet?!
Have a fantastic Monday everyone! I’m back tomorrow to start a Spring Break Travel Series for all of you that are still planning your family Spring Breaks! I’ll see you then!
