Weekend Round Up

Happy Sunday my loves! It is absloutely BEAUTIFUL out today! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and my heart is bursting with all the feels of March Madness.

I’m not a fan of basketball really, but I always find myself GLUED to the TV every March watching more College Hoops in one day than the rest of the year combined. I LIVE for upsets, buzzer beaters and school spirit! And this weekend totally hasn’t disappointed!

Like that UMBC Upset! They may have busted my bracket, but they most definitely didn’t bust my heart. I now am cheering for the Retrievers to win it all.

And that Michigan buzzer beater?! By a freakin’ freshman?! All I gotta say is HAIL.

Also, just a quick little brag… my bracket is still perfect. In the west region. So you know… I’m kinda a big deal 😉

But you’re not here to talk basketball. You’re here to talk about our weekends!

Friday night I was the late person at work, and Trev was off being awesome and working the March Madness games at LCA. So I grabbed Culver’s and spent the evening watching basketball and Hart of Dixie.

The best part of my weekend was Saturday! I spent the day with those that I love most, watching my handsome hubby cross off one of his bucket list items! He’s ALWAYS wanted to compete in a weight lifting competition, and made it one of his 2018 Resolutions to actually do it this year.

So Saturday, we headed to East Lansing for The Spartan Open! It was BEYOND awesome watching him cross of his bucket list and absolutely CRUSH it!

My parents came down for it, and so did Trev’s family! Which means I also got some baby snuggles 🙂

Saturday night, we had a SUPER WILD St. Patty’s Day. We sat on our couch, watched Parks and Rec, and ate Oreo Pie to celebrate Trev.

Today, Trev was back at LCA for the games, and I was busy around the house. I grocery shopped, cleaned and spent my afternoon out in the sunshine!

This beautiful weather is leaving me with a serious case of Spring Fever! Which is why this week on the blog, you’ll find nothing but Springy themed posts! Starting tomorrow with my Michigan Spring Bucket List 🙂

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and got out and enjoyed all this beautiful weather! I’ll talk to you tomorrow.

Xx.
