Happy Thursday Loves! Guess what?! It’s almost one of the best days of the year… Galentine’s Day!
For those of you that aren’t avid Parks and Rec fans (Shame on you! Get to watchin’!) you might be asking…
It’s only the best day of the year! “It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas.” Every February 13th, whether you’re single, happily taken or somewhere inbetween, you get to celebrate Love with the ladies in your life who always have your back. Because let’s be honest, while romance is great and all, who doesn’t love a perfect day with their friends?
No Galentine’s Day celebration is complete without a yummy drink. So voulenteer to bring the alcohol because this year, I’ve got the most perfect recipe for you! Can you say Bellinis?!
With FOUR different Bellini recipes (and really, your options are endless depending on what fruits you want to use!) and a few items you probably have laying around your house, your Galentine’s Cocktail Game is about to be ON POINT.
I’ve been SO excited to share these Bellini recipes with you ever since the lovely people behind Shari’s Berrie’s sister company, Gifts.com reached out to me! (Side note! Let’s get started!
First things first. Pull up this post to find all the Bellini recipes, and super cute ideas on how to make a Bellini bar! Now the hard part… pick which flavor you’re going to try! For me, it was kind of a no brainer. I can’t have mangos (They make my tongue swell up. It’s super fun.) so that was out. But I LOVE Strawberries and Blueberries! Once you’ve decided on your flavors, grab your ingredients!
If you’re using frozen fruit, you should follow the direction on the linked post above exactly! However, I decided to use fresh fruit! So we did ours a little bit differently! We pureed 2 cups of fruit with 1/3 cup of sugar. (You can add more or less. This is to taste!)
Grab a cute little bottle and pour in your purees and let sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Now the easy part… add a little puree with a lot a little champagne and BAMN. You have the most perfect Galentine’s drink! (Or really just any time drink.)
Guys. I can’t even begin to tell you how yummy these are! Personally, these drinks scream DRINK ME IN BED FOR THE MOST LUXURIOUS LAZY MORNING EVER.

Galentine’s Day Brunch
In true Leslie Knope fashion, celebrate with your friends in the best way possible… with waffles! (And Bellinis! Click here one more time for ideas on styling a super cute bellini bar!) Whether everyone brings a brunch dish pot-luck style, or you head to your very own JJ’s Diner, brunch with your girls will be the perfect way to start your day!
Send Your Girls Something Special
For all those long distance BFFs, send them a special care package in the mail. (You still have time to get it there before February 13th!) Bath bombs, candy, pictures, coffee mugs, whatever you decide, you know your girls will love. Check out Pinterest for some seriously cute ideas!
Netflix + Chill-ed Bellinis (Or just Alcohol in General!)
I remember a few years ago I came across this Buzzfeed post that shares a Galentine’s Day Drinking Game. TBH it sounds like a blast, and you should totally print out copies and hang them around your house when your girls come over. Throw on some Netflix (may I suggest Parks and Rec?!), drink some Bellinis and EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT. Sometimes a night in with your girls is exactly what you need!
Mail a Valentine
Take a moment to send a REAL Valentine through the Snail Mail. Don’t go buy one… make one. Think construction paper, glitter, heart stickers and pictures. Let your inner 5 year old out and create a beautiful master piece that will bring you and your bestie back to grade school.
Do a DIY
For it to be a proper Galentine’s day, it has to involve some sort of craft! (Leslie Knope would be sad if it didn’t!) But maybe instead of scrapbooks or crushed bottle portraits of your friends, find a project on Pinterest and do it together. Make something useful that you can keep out every day to remind you of the perfect day with your friends for years to come!
