Hello my loves! Happy Monday! How the heck is it already Monday again? I feel like I blink and the weekend disappears on me. Ugh. Petition to make Mondays the weekend too?
We had a fun weekend with Trev’s family this weekend. We headed down to Blissfield as soon as we got out of work and had some dinner. We didn’t know they were heading to a tractor show and then dinner or we’d have left right away to meet them! We ended up dropping Jackson off at Trev’s parents house and then meeting them at the bar for a drink while they finished eating. We were so happy to see our niece and nephew!

Saturday we had a busy day! We spent the morning at the Indian Creek Zoo with Trev’s whole family. It’s a small zoo in Lamberville, MI that my niece and nephew love.

Then we said goodbye to our brother and sister in law and nephew and took Emmy with us for a little extra fun 🙂 We went to Gust’s (our favorite pumpkin place in the fall!) to enjoy their Flower Farm and Produce Market. We spent the afternoon picking flowers and making bouquets.

We were starving when we left Gust’s so we headed into Toldeo to get Fricker’s for lunch. My favorite thing about Fricker’s? The fact they have Yuengling on tap. (Well that. And their chicken chunks.)

After lunch we took Emmy back to her house and said our goodbyes. We went back to my inlaws to float in the pool for the rest of the afternoon. We grabbed dinner at BTown before heading back home.
Sunday Trev had to train a team first thing in the morning. I slept in and enjoyed a few episodes of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home before cleaning the house. I had planned to quickly shoot some content when Trev got back and spend the rest of the day relaxing. But as content shoots typically go… it took all afternoon. By the time we finished it was 5:00 and time to start making dinner.
We had planned to grill and enjoy our patio but it was stupid hot outside. So we opted to eat inside and finish this season of Outer Banks. (So good!)
We spent the rest of the evening prepping for the week, folding laundry and reading. And just like that… our weekend was over.
How were your weekends? Not long enough, I’m guessing?
I’m already counting down the days to Friday. We aren’t going anywhere this weekend and we seriously can’t wait to just relax and enjoy our backyard!
Alright my loves, I’m signing off for the night. I have some great news for you… Monday is done and we’re only a few more days away from the weekend 🙂 I’ll be back tomorrow!
Xx.
