It’s about that time my friends… the ultimate summer weekend is officially upon us. It’s time to party like its 1776, and celebrate the birth of our great nation!
The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! (I know I say that about every holiday, but I really love this one!) It gives me all the happy feels thinking of BBQs with my family, sun drenched days on the beach, elephant ears, and fireworks.
Are you heading out of town this weekend too?! Don’t waste any time stressing about what to pack… I did the hard work for you! Here are the Fourth of July Essentials that you’ll need before you hit the beach (or wherever it is you are celebrating in our beautiful country) this holiday weekend!
The Clothes
It’s not Fourth of July without a little Red, White and Blue! Pack pieces that you can mix and match (remember… Stars and Stripes always go together!) to have the perfect outfit no matter where your weekend takes you. Think pieces with relaxed, summer vibes, like cutoffs, sun dresses and swimsuits. Throw in a patriotic bikini for when the sun shines and a cozy sweater for the fireworks show and you’ll have everything you need for a perfect 4th. What I’m Packing:

The Accessories
Top off your outfits with accessories that can go with all of your summer looks. Think of summer classics, like sunglasses, slides, hats and bandanas! (PS… I like to pick up summer accessories from inexpensive places like Target! They’re perfect for what I need, stylish, and I don’t feel bad when I ultimately leave my sunglasses or hat behind at the beach.) What I’m Packing:

The Beauty Routine
I have a pretty strict rule in not wearing much make up while I’m celebrating ‘Merica. If I put on any makeup, it’s usually just a tinted moisturizer/cc cream, a swipe of mascara and a few illuminating drops. (Or 12) For hair, beachy waves are key!
