Happy Thoughts

Hey Loves! Happy Tuesday! Today has been a weird day for me. It’s my second day off of work and I’ve been busy working on our master bath remodel. However, I’ve got a real feeling a doom and gloom today.

Last night, our governor put a Stay at Home law into place. Basically, we are not allowed to leave our homes unless it is for groceries or emergencies. We knew if was happening as of 11 am, but at 8:00 pm last night, the emergency notification went off on my phone and on my tv. Seeing it flashing on all our devices was very ominous, and felt like I was living in George Orwell’s 1984.

So while I was enjoying working on my bathroom today and being home, I kind of had a dark cloud hanging over my head. My anixety has been through the roof in these uncertain times, and I know I’m not the only one. So today, I thought why not share some happy thoughts?

Because I’m sure, I’m not the only one that needs a little help smiling sometimes.

Here are some words that made me feel happier, braver, less anxious and a little more smiley today!

What are your happy thoughts right now? Share them below!

Alright my loves, I’ll be back tomorrow for #WhatUpWednesday! I’ll talk to you then.

PS… I found all of these on Pinterest. I’m not sure who originally made them, but they are all so beautiful!

  1. This to shall pass..we all have to be there for one another…how we handle this crisis will be a testament to who we are..you are a strong, caring, creative, loving and beautiful woman. Love you💙

  2. “Deep breaths. Baby steps. “ is my favorite of all of these. My kids have been home over a week. Some days we do school work. Other days we bake cookies and watch movies. Everyone is scared and out of sorts. I think it’s best if we allow ourselves to work through all the emotions and just do what feels right.
    Have a great week.

  3. So crazy I came across a link to this from off Pinterest! We both went to MHS. I graduated in 2006, my maiden name is Ruiz.

Anyways, just thought I’d comment my happiness…

I have four boys ages 1 thru 8. I am a stay home mom. The world around us has changed but our world for the most part has remained similar. We normally are home figuring out daily life with each other. Being a mom of all boys is different every single day. But with the current situation unfolding around us it is a great chance for me to see how they respond; and it’s never short of amazing ❤

Now don’t get me wrong I have days where I drink coffee all morning and let them fall off routine–we all need it–but for the most part my happiness is being at home so maybe this current life will enlighten some people what they are missing out on always moving one place to another ❤
