#WhatUpWednesday (On A Thursday)

Hey Guys! Can you believe that it’s finally Thursday?! Honestly, this has felt like the longest week of my life, which is why I missed getting this post up yesterday. But, I’m here today, and I’m going to share all the things I am currently loving in my life!

What I’m Watching

Oh my gosh. We are OBSESSED with the Great British Breaking Show! We started an episode last weekend with my parents and haven’t been able to stop watching since. We are so fascinated by everything they make, and it’s honestly got me wanting to move to England so I can be on the show too. If you haven’t seen it, you need to! We found it on Netflix 🙂

What I’m Eating

Medicine… like candy. I’ve been feeling pretty gross these past couple of days, and stress/lack of sleep has made my sickness feel 10 times worse. I’ve mentioned these before, but I’m going to mention them again! Every time I come down with flu like symptoms, I take these. I call them my magic crystals because I’m not kidding you, they make me feel better so quickly! And I can feel good about taking them because they are homeopathic. I can’t recommend them enough! I take one when I first wake up, one in the afternoon at lunch, and then I take NyQuil at night so I get a good nights sleep.

What I’m Shopping For

A Bar Cart! I just ordered one off Amazon and I can’t wait for it to get here. We’re not going to use it for a bar (we have an entire bar in our basement) but for our record player! I can’t wait to get it, put it together and style it. Fingers crossed it will look like I’m envisioning in my head!

What App I’m Using

I know I’ve also talked about the Headspace App before, but I’m mentioning this again too! With the stressful weeks I’ve been having + not feeling well, this app has been my lifesaver! I use it to help me meditate and to help me fall asleep! I really love their Sleepcasts (my favorites are Snowville, Rain Day Antiques and Loch Ness) and their Sleep Music! (There are so many but so far my favorite is Singing Pines. I really like that with Headspace, I don’t have to worry about getting better sleep. I know that I’m falling asleep mindfully which helps me to sleep better through the night. (And no… it’s not just the NyQuil that’s knocking me out! HAHA) It also has this really cool feature called Nighttime SOS that is really cool. It’s a quick 10 minute meditation that you can turn on when you are awoken by something specific like a bad dream, pain at night or a racing mind. You do have to pay for this app ($12.99) but it pays for itself multiple times over.

What Else Is New

Not much. I’m just really looking forward to sleeping in on Saturday. HAHA These past two weeks have been tough, and I’m counting down the minutes until Friday 🙂

Alright my loves, I’m off to take a shower and snuggle in for the night. I hope you all have the most wonderful weekend! Fingers crossed I’ll have some time to sit down and work on some blog posts so I can get more than just two up for you next week! I have so many things I want to share, but practically no time to get my thoughts written down.
