Hey Hey! Happy Monday my loves!
Today it a bittersweet today, because it’s the first year I have to take my Patriots snacks off my list of Super Bowl Snacks 😩(Still not handling our loss very well. Which is why I’m sharing my picture from last year when we won.)
But just because my boys have the weekend off, it doesn’t mean I won’t be watching the big game! This year though, will be for the commercials and the snacks 🙂
So just as I’ve done in years past, I’m sharing links to all my favorite snack recipes to take your Super Bowl party from just okay to freakin’ awesome.
If you read my Super Bowl Snack Post last year, you might recognize a few of these recipes. But to be honest, I just have to share them again because they are all THAT GOOD. I’ve made each of these for multiple parties and every time, people want the recipe instantly!
Let’s get started with meatballs! If you’re looking for perfect meatball recipes look no further than the Mix and Match Mama! She is the queen of food bloggers in my book, because everything she makes is kid approved, which means, it’s Savannah approved too. (I’ll admit it, I’m pretty picky!) If you just search “meatballs” on her site, you’ll find a ton of amazing recipes. But these are my favorite!
Mix and Match Mama’s Cheeseburger Meatballs
Mix and Match Mama’s Meatball Burgers
Mix and Match Mama’s Pizza Meatballs
Mix and Match Mama’s Meatball Sliders
You can’t have a Super Bowl party without chicken wings! Personally, I think my Grandma makes THE BEST WINGS in the entire world. All she does is salt and pepper them and bake them. Then she adds different sauces to them and they seriously rock. I love them with Frank’s Sweet Chili Sauce! However, if you’re looking for some other options, these are a few of my favorites.
Epicurious Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
My favorite part about Super Bowl parties?! Finger food! I usually head for the classics, like pigs in a blanket and jalapeño poppers. However, if you’re looking to mix it up… check out these fun recipes!
Queso Bites
(Guys. TRIPLE this recipe. They are SO GOOD and will go SO FAST.)
Sausage Chili Cheese Bites
(These too!)
Soft Pretzel Bites
(My dad made these for Christmas Eve and they were really awesome! He served with this beer cheese dip!)
It’s not a Super Bowl party without a wide range of dips! My mom makes this Buffalo chicken dip all the time and it is AMAZING! She serves it with cut up french baguette and wheat thins. Seriously… I could eat the entire pot by myself!
Andddd Sally’s Stupid Salad! I’m super excited to share this recipe with you because literally EVERY time I’ve ever made this everyone has instantly asked for the recipe. It sounds weird… the ingredients seems odd but I promise you, this ish is the best! This isn’t technically a dip… we usually eat it with a fork as a side dish. But you can serve it as a dip if you’d like!
Sally’s Stupid Salad
(This is my Grandma’s BFFs recipe. We asked her what it was called and she named it Sally’s Stupid Salad because it’s stupid good. HAHA But I’ve seen it before in southern cuisine also called Frito Corn Salad!)
- 1 (15-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (15-ounce) can Fiesta corn, drained (**If you can’t find Fiesta corn, grab a second can of whole kernel corn and then add 1 Pepper, Diced. You can choose whichever color you want! We usually choose two colors and then do half of each! It will do the same thing!)
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 Sweet Onion, Diced
- 1 Bag of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Bag of Chili Cheese Fritos
- Add corn, mayo and sour cream to a large bowl, and mix.
- Next, add in onion and cheddar cheese and stir until combined.
- Last, add your Chili Cheese Fritos, mix and serve. Be warned, if not eaten right away, these get soggy and soggy Fritos gross me out.
- You can totally serve the Fritos on the side and your guests could dip into the corn salad
Are you looking for something a little more filling? I highly suggest making a chili?! Chili is ALWAYS a hit, and you can serve it “Chili Bar Style” with all the fixin’s. My dad’s Chili Con Carne is literally TO DIE FOR, might I add.
Last, but certainly not least, you can’t forget the sweet treats! In my experience, people tend to go towards more savory foods while watching the big game. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a couple things to satisfy some sweet tooth!
Fruit Pizza
I made this last year for a bridal shower and honestly it’s the best dessert EVER. Plus, it’s really easy to eat sitting around… watching football 😉
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
Any of Mix and Match Mama’s Cookie Bars!
Andddd Apple Pie Bites! We got this recipe out of our envelope with the papers to fill our to renew our Magnolia Journal subscription! They take about a half hour to make and are so freakin’ delicious! I highly suggest doubling the batch because they will go FAST.
Magnolia’s Apple Pie Bites

What You’ll Need
- 1/2 of a 17.3 oz package of frozen puff pastry sheets (1 sheet), thawed
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped apples, peeled if desired
- 2 tsp. Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 10 vanilla caramels, unwrapped (If you want to make your own caramel sauce! We just used caramel ice cream topping!)
- 3 Tbsp. Heavy Cream (Only if you’re making your own sauce!)
- Chopped Toasted Pecans
- Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a lightly floured surface unfold puff pastry sheet. Roll pastry into a 15×10-inch rectangle; cut into twenty-four 2 1/2 in squares. Fit each square into a 1 3/4-inch muffin cup.
Stir together apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Spoon into pastry-lined muffin cups. Bake about 15 minutes or until pastry is golden. Cool 5 minutes in plan. Carefully remove bites from pan.
Meanwhile, heat and stir caramels and cream over very low heat until melted and smooth. Drizzle bites with caramel sauce and sprinkle with pecans. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Serve immediately.
What do you like to munch on while you watch the big game?! Leave your favorite recipes below. We’re still trying to decide what to make on Sunday 🙂
Alright my loves, I’ll (fingers crossed) be back tomorrow!
Xx.
