Hi Friends! Happy, happy Monday! We had a very busy weekend, which is why this post is coming to you today instead of last night!
Our weekend started out Friday as soon as I got out of work. Trev had the car packed and ready and I changed quick before hopping in and heading to Blissfield. We got there just in time for the high school football game!

This was a big weekend for Trev because he was getting recognized in his High School Athletics Hall of Fame! He was first recognized at half time of the football game. It was so fun to see him out on the field with a bunch of his high school teammates!

We got to catch up with friends, eat popcorn, and watch his home team pummel one of their rivals! After the game we grabbed a drink and a snack at a local bar with Trev’s parents before turning in for the night!

Saturday we were up early because Trev’s parents had a house showing. (More on that later!) We headed to their new house to have some breakfast on the porch before we got our day started.

After breakfast we went to spend some time with our niece and nephew!

When they laid down for naps, we headed to my favorite pumpkin patch! It was meant to be a quick trip so I could pick up a few mums for our front porch. BUT they had all my fall favorites out PLUS Pick Your Own Wildflowers!!!

We left with heirloom pumpkins, a mum, flowers, donuts and cider slushees! We grabbed subs at a local sandwich shop on our way home and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing until it was time to get ready for Trev’s big night!
I had SO much fun at Trev’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony! It was so cool to see his high school. He gave me a tour, showed me his locker and shared a few of his favorite high school memories with me before the dinner began!

After dinner we went to the bar with some friends/fellow inductees for a drink before calling it a night.

Sunday we all woke up early to have a family breakfast before we started moving Trev’s parents. Those of you that have been here awhile might be a little confused, because we just moved them last October! Last year, Trev’s parents and his brother and sister in law basically switched houses. My in-laws had thought that this would be their perfect home but soon realized it wasn’t the right fit and too small for their lifestyle. So a few months ago, they bought the house next door.
We spent the afternoon moving their things across the lawn and getting them pretty much all moved in to their new home.

We ended up not leaving until late afternoon, so when we got home, we were sprinting around trying to get our Sunday things done… like grocery shopping, meal prepping, cleaning and laundry. Plus we both had a few things to do to prep for work the following day too. By the time we had everything done, it was 9:00 and I was exhausted!
Today has been a typical Monday, and we’re supper happy that we’re back home and snuggled up on the couch watching the new season of DWTS!
How were your weekends?! I know I’m already counting down our days until the next one.
I’ll be back tomorrow my loves 😘
Xx.
