You guys… we finally made it to Thursday. This has been the freakin’ marathon week and Friday is so close I can practically reach out and touch it! I love the weekends for SO many reasons, but am really looking forward to this weekend in particular. This month has been so emotionally exhausting for us, and this weekend we are going to do a lot of relaxing and have a really fun date day planned! I’m really really really really really looking forward to Friday!
And now… for today’s post!
A few weekends ago, I shared a few snaps from the bridal shower we threw for my cousin’s new wife! (BTW, big congrats goes out to Zach and Allie! They got married last Friday at the courthouse in Manistee and are having their ceremony tomorrow on a beach in Punta Cana! Send good vibes and good weather their way!) I got so many comments and DMs about this shower! You wanted to know about two things… the theme of the shower and how we decorated and my fruit pizza.
So I decided, it’s time to share! Next week you’ll see a few more detailed photos from the shower and an in depth DIY on the Balloon Arch that literally was SO SIMPLE but looked SO GOOD. And today? You’re getting my fruit pizza recipe!

I was hesitant to share this with you because it really is so easy. But, ask and you shall receive!
Now, I’m like 98.9% positive that you can’t go wrong with fruit pizza. I mean, I’ve never met one that I didn’t like. There are literally thousands of recipes out there and after a real quick scroll on Pinterest, I think mine has a secret ingredient that takes it up a notch. Not only does it make it even prettier (is that possible?) but it makes it even more fruity and delicious.
With a few simple ingredients, lots of fresh fruit and about 30 minutes, you’re about to have the most perfect dessert for any occasion.
So book mark this page and grab your apron! It’s time to make a Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizza!
What You’ll Need
For The Sugar Cookie Crust:
- 1/2 Cup Butter, Softened
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Cream of Tartar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
For The Topping:
- 12 oz Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
- 1/4 Cup Maraschino Cherry Juice
- 1/4 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
Fruit (You can use any fruit you’d like! I’m listing the ones I used below.)
- Strawberries (sliced thin)
- Blueberries
- Blackberries
- Raspberries
- Kiwi (sliced thin)
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in the egg.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Slowly stir into the butter/sugar/egg mixture until just blended. It should form a dough.
Press your cookie dough into an un-greased pizza pan. (You could also make on a cookie sheet if you prefer a square pizza!) Bake 8-10 minutes of until lightly brown on top.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
While your cookie crust is cooling, you can put together your topping and chop up your fruit! Making the topping is super easy. Simply blend all the ingredients (cream cheese, cherry juice, pineapple juice and sugar) until smooth.
Set aside and cut up your fruit. When you’re done, it’s time to assemble your pizza!
Everyone likes their fruit pizza to look different. Some people make intricate patterns with their fruit, but personally, it like the easy “rustic”ness (if you can call it that?) of the fruit just scattered all over it.

For this particular pizza, I started with the strawberries and kiwis because they laid flat. Then, I added the blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. I also garnished with a few sprigs of mint just to make it look a little bit prettier.

Pro Tip! If you want your pizza to stay looking THIS pretty, cut it before you add the fruit. We found out that the second we cut the pizza, the fruit started getting covered with the cream cheese and didn’t look as pretty. It still tasted amazing though!
And guys… that’s it! How simple is that?
How do you make your fruit pizzas? What occasions do you bake them for?
Alright my friends. I am signing off for the weekend! Who else is ready for some R&R?!
I’ll be back on Sunday. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Xx.
