5 Easy Fire Pit Desserts You’ll Love

Happy, happy, happy Thursday my loves! How can it not be happy?! My long weekend starts this afternoon and I literally couldn’t be more excited!

I also couldn’t be more excited about today’s post! Quick. Think of something that screams summer to you… how many of you thought of starry nights around the campfire?! There is nothing I love more in the summer than spending the evening around the campfire with my family and friends eating yummy food, chatting and drinking all the summer brews. The fire at my Grandma’s is my summertime happy place.

And do you know what else makes me really, really happy?! S’mores! The official dessert of summer is getting revamped by my friends at Wayfair this season and guys… you’re going to want these recipes for your #MDW bonfires!

With 5 different S’more recipes, you’re guaranteed to find something everyone likes! And when they say easy, they mean it! My family and I spent last Saturday night trying these delectable treats to see if they lived up to their pictures. And spoiler alert… they do!

For all these recipes you’ll need one important main ingredient… Marshmallows! Pro Tip: we used the big square ones for the pictures. however, they don’t melt as evenly as the normal sized ones!

First Up… The Toasted Coconut and Dark Chocolate S’more!

Realizing now I shoulda painted my fingernails for these pics. Oh well… ya live and ya learn 🙂

OMG… guys. 5 stars. Would marry this S’more eat this s’more every day of my life. And guess what?! I don’t even like coconut! Well, unless it’s in a Mounds Bar. And this just so happened to taste exactly like a Mounds bar! This definitely tastes more like a dessert, and not just a S’more! I’ve never felt classier around the fire 😉

Shopping List:

  • Graham crackers
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Coconut flakes
  • Marshmallows

How to assemble:

  • This S’more takes a little bit of prep work! (But I promise it’s totally worth it.) Start by melting the dark chocolate chips.
  • While your chocolate is melting, add the coconut flakes to a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about four minutes, until the flakes turn golden brown.
  • Coat one graham cracker in melted chocolate and sprinkle the toasted coconut flakes on the chocolate. Set aside to cool. We actually put ours in the fridge overnight, and they were good to go the next day!
  • Now the best part… head to the fire and toast your marshmallows! Smash the toasted marshmallow between one coated graham cracker and one plain graham cracker. Then, enjoy it so much that you vow to never eat a S’more another way ever again.

That is, until you see… The Strawberry Hazelnut S’More!


I’m 98% certain this one was made specifically for my Nutella lovin’ heart. I mean, just look at all that gooey goodness! Have you ever seen anything more beautiful?!

Shopping List:

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Chocolate hazelnut spread
  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows
  • Hazelnuts (These are optional!)

How to assemble:

  • This one has a bit of prep work to be done too! Take some time in the kitchen to slice the strawberries, about ¼ inch thick. Also, if you want to add some extra hazelnuts for crunch, chop them up now too! Now, we chose to assemble our S’Mores a little bit differently than my friends at Wayfair. Ours didn’t look as pretty, but it felt slightly less messy!
  • Spread hazelnut spread on one graham cracker. Add strawberry slices on top of the hazelnut spread.
  • Then, head to the fire and toast your marshmallow to your liking! (Anyone else become a fan of burnt marshmallows simply because you’ve been too impatient your entire life to wait for golden brown?!)
  • Add toasted marshmallow on top of the strawberry and then one more graham cracker on top! Then dig right in!

This next one was voted the favorite by most of the guys around the fire. So ladies… if you’re lookin’ to impress a special someone, maybe try to woo them with these Cereal Milk Explosion S’Mores! (Or, ya know, #TreatYoSelf.)


Every wanted to know what perfection looked like? See above. This S’More is SO GOOD that I ate two of them. (So long, bikini body. This S’more is worth it.) This one was Trev’s favorite, and he’s declared that every campfire from now on must have these!


Shopping List:

  • Fruity Pebbles
  • Butter
  • Marshmallows (Mini for Baking, and Normal For Roasting!)

How to assemble:

  • This is another S’more that needs a little prep work before you can enjoy! In a large saucepan on low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Add one package of marshmallows and stir until melted and combined.
  • Then, add 6 cups of cereal to the melted butter and marshmallow, and stir until coated.
  • Spread mixture evenly into a parchment-lined baking pan, about 1 inch thick. Once cooled, cut into squares.
  • Grab your rice krispie treats and take them down to the fire. Toast a marshmallow to your liking, then smoosh your toasted marshmallow between two slices of your rice krispie treats. Thank Wayfair later.

This next treat was my choice S’more of the night! Why? Because it pairs PERFECTLY with Short’s PBJ Ale! Meet The Elvis Fluffernutter S’More!


Did you know that Elvis was famous for his Peanut Butter and Banana sandwiches?! So famous that in restaurants all over the country you’ll find some sort of peanut butter and banana concoction dedicated to the Music Legend. So, why not add a little Americana to your fire?!

Shopping List:

  • Peanut butter
  • Bananas
  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows

How to Assemble:

  • This one is the easiest to make, with literally no prep work involved! Spread your peanut butter on on graham cracker.
  • Then, slice a banana about ¼ inch thick and place slices on top.
  • Give that marshmallow some burning love. (Copied this right from the Original Post because it’s too perfect not to! LOL)
  • Put your toasted marshmallow and another graham cracker on top and voila! The most delicious ode to Elvis ever!

And finally, my Grandpa’s favorite… The Peaches N Cream!


Imma be totally honest with you. I really wasn’t too sure about this one. Peaches and Molasses Cookies just seemed like the strangest combo to me! But guys… this little baby proved.me.wrong.

Shopping List:

  • Molasses cookies (We bought big soft ones!)
  • Peaches
  • Marshmallows

How to Assemble:

  • Cut peaches into slices about ¼ inch thick, then add one to a cookie.
  • Toast a marshmallow (or two) over your fire pit and add on top of the peach slices. Top with second cookie.
  • And that’s it! Easy peasy, lemon peach squeezy.
