What I’m Excited About

I’m so excited for MDW! I’m getting an extra long weekend because we took Friday off! (My cousin is graduating Friday night and with traffic we’d never make it in time if we left on Friday!) I haven’t had a day off since Christmas, so I’m really, really, really looking forward to taking a few days to R-E-L-A-X, eat a ton of BBQ, catch up with my family, and kick off my summer the right way…. on the boat! What I’m Obsessing Over

I’m still so obsessed with everything #RoyalWedding and the newly minted Dutchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. I can’t get enough of all the wedding photos, the “behind the scenes” wedding articles, and going back and looking at all of Meghan Markle’s street style choices to try and shape my summer wardrobe. Dare I say I might love her more than Kate Middleton rn?! Ugh. I’m such a traitor.

Side note… I’m writing this from my car, and A BEE JUST FLEW IN AND LANDED ON MY COMPUTER. It was total pandemonium for a solid three seconds until he flew out. You are SO welcome for that fun little story.

What I’m Sad About

All my shows are ending!! New Girl is over, The Middle series finale aired last night, and my favorite reality shows are all finishing up before the Summer. I legit bawled my eyes out last night watching The Middle end (I’m not good at series finales.) I hate that TV is never as good in the summer. Lucky for us, we’ve got The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise to tide us over until Fall!

What I’m Buying

All the Summer beauty essentials! I’m stocking up on my light weight BB Creams, self tanners, sunscreen, sea salt spray and lotions. I’m ready to kick my look back into “laid back beach girl”! What I’m Thinking About

Food!! I’m thinking about all the amazing food I’m about to eat this holiday weekend! Last year, I shared everything you need for a MDW BBQ, if you’re looking for ideas! Alright my loves. I’m off to get this never ending day started! After work, I’m packing, prepping for being out of work for a day (in preschool teacher world that means making playdough) and going to get my fishing license before we leave tomorrow!
