DIY: Printable Wine Bottle Labels

Happy Thursday Loves! I’m coming to you LIVE from my bathtub today, with the prettiest bottle of rosé you ever did see thanks to what I’m about to share with you today!!

Today, we’re talking all about wine… a subject I know 98% of you can get behind 🙂 Why? Because wine is the answer for everything. Broken Heart? Wine. Celebrating? Wine. Relaxing? Wine. Getting through a rough day? Wine. Special Occasion? Wine. Night in with your girls? Wine. Giving a gift? Wine.

Speaking of… I’ve found that wine makes the BEST gifts! I’ve given countless gift baskets filled with wine and they are always appreciated. Whether it was for Christmas or a Birthday, a Bridal Shower or Housewarming Gift, I would make some labels, slap em on, and call it good to go.

But you guys… there is no need for handmade, subpar labels anymore, thanks to FTD Florals. So get ready to raise a glass with 6 Printable Wine Bottle Labels for your next celebration.

I mean how pretty are these photos from FTD Florals?

Ahhhh! Aren’t they so perfect?! And guess what? These labels aren’t only pretty, but they’re crazy easy to use!

To apply your favorite wine bottle label, follow these simple directions below:

  1. Remove the original wine label by soaking the lower half of the bottle in a bowl of room temperature water with about 5-10 tablespoons of baking soda.
  2. After 30 minutes, remove the bottle from the water and wipe the label off with a dry towel.
  3. Download your favorite design and print on glossy paper at home or at your local printing shop.
  4. Attach the label to the bottle of vino with double-sided sticky tape and voila! You have the perfect gift to help your loved one celebrate a special milestone.

Don’t feel like taking the original label off the bottle? All of the label downloads come with a hangable tag too!

Now, these labels would make even just a bottle of wine the perfect gift. But are you looking for a little something “more”?  Just keep reading! Today, I’m sharing how I put together a perfect Wine Gift Basket that everyone is sure to love!

How to Make A Wine Gift Basket

What You’ll Need

  • A Pretty Basket/Bucket/Box/Container
  • Gift Basket Filler
  • Stemless Wine Glasses
  • Printable Wine Bottle Labels from FTD Florals
  • Wine
  • An “Extra” or Two!

Start your gift basket by choosing something pretty to put it in. I ALWAYS scour Michaels and Hobby Lobby for this! Pretty wooden crates, rustic metal wire baskets, or simple woven baskets all make your gift look instantly more “expensive”. And while baskets can be pricy, stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby always have a coupon or great sale!

Next, grab some basket filler and fill up your basket! I like to get the paper basket filler from the Dollar Tree! It’s super cheap and looks just like the stuff you’d find at a different store for twice the price.

Now, grab a wine glass and some wine! I always choose stemless glasses because I’m worried that the others would break in a gift basket. I like to choose a glass that “matches” the wine. For example, if I’m choosing a Late Harvest Riesling from Leelanau Cellars, you know I’m getting an M22 wine glass to go with it.

Once you’ve chosen your wine and wine glass, it’s time for the fun part! Choose a label from FTD Florals to make your bottle of vino P-O-P, and follow the steps for application above!

After your label is applied, put your wine and wine glass in your basket to see how much space you have for your “something extra”. Maybe add in some chocolates, a corkscrew or whatever else matches your basket’s “theme”.

Last, add a bow and BOOM. A perfect gift for any occasion!

So whether you’re giving a gift, or just wanting a pretty bottle of wine to sip in your bathtub, look no further than FTD Florals!

Sometimes I take baths because it’s hard to drink wine in the shower.

And while you’re there, don’t forget to purchase some gorgeous Spring blooms from FTD Florals!

Alright my loves. I’m off! It’s absolutely GORGEOUS outside and I’m ready for some fun in the sun!

Have a fantastic weekend everyone! I’ll be back on Sunday to share mine with you 🙂

Xx.
