You guys… we finally made it to Thursday. This has been the freakin’ marathon week and Friday is so close I can practically reach out and touch it! I love the weekends for SO many reasons, but one of my favorites is that I actually have time to sit down and eat a bunch of breakfast!
One of my absolute favorite breakfast is Biscuits and Jam! (My dad always serves with sausage gravy but I don’t like gravy!) My dad makes seriously LIFE CHANGING biscuits. These perfect little biscuits only have FOUR ingredients and are SO easy to make! You can literally throw them together and you’ll get perfect biscuits every.single.time.
Sounds pretty perfect right?! Book mark this page RIGHT NOW because once you bake these biscuits, you’ll never go back to Pillsbury out of a can again 🙂
PS… I’m really sorry I don’t have a better picture of them for you. I promise, they’re a billion times better than they look!
What You’ll Need
- 2 Cups Bisquick
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 Cup 7 Up or Sprite
- 1/4 Cup Butter
Start by pre-heating your oven to 425 degrees. (This will help them from burning!)
Next grab a white, 9″ ceramic baking dish. (This is important! A lighter pan seriously makes all the difference! The biscuits won’t burn as easily. No joke! If you don’t already own one, try to use a glass pan. That will work too!) Throw your 1/4 cup of butter in it, and set in the oven to melt. Be sure to watch it so that the butter doesn’t burn!
While the butter is melting, combine Bisquick, Sour Cream and 7 Up in a bowl and stir until dough is formed.
When butter is melted, take out your pan then transfer the dough into the now warm pan and score the dough into serving sizes. Or, you, put a little extra Bisquick out on the counter, pat the dough out, and then cut into biscuits before placing into the pan. Either way works!
Bake 12-15 minutes, checking the center of the biscuits with a toothpick to be sure they are done.
And guys… that’s it! How simple is that?! And I promise you… these biscuits are the bomb.com
Alright friends. I’m out of here! Only one more (very long) day of work left until the weekend. YAY! I hope everyone has a fun weekend planned 🙂 I’ll be back on Sunday with my Weekend Round Up.
Xx.
