Ahhh guys it’s finally time to say goodbye to DC. I’m so sad because I really have loved reliving my memories from my trip to the most Patriotic city on this planet.
Just like my other travel series, I’m leaving you today with snaps from my iPhone. We adore this city, and honestly can’t wait to go back again someday soon. (Also… sorry these pictures are in such a random order. I’m not sure what I was thinking when I put them in the order I did!)
As for my next travel post? I haven’t decided yet what I’m going to share! I have another hiking trip up my sleeve, a few smaller cities and trips, a few fun new travel series and a whole lot of travel tips that I’m dying to share with all of you! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how I’m feeling next week 😉
Enjoy your Tuesday my loves! I’ll talk to you all tomorrow.
Xx.

First morning in DC! I was LITERALLY (I hope you read that in your Chris Traeger voice Parks and Rec fans!) so excited to see Honest Abe. He’s always been my favorite President and it felt pretty surreal to be able to stand at his monument after dreaming of visiting it forever! The closest we made it to the Pentagon on this trip. We adored our hotel at the National Harbor. The roof top pool was freakin awesome and perfect to swim in after a long hot day exploring the city. Heading to dinner in National Harbor. Arlington Trev’s first Metro ride hahahaWhite House! Visiting The Capitol building! The Hope Diamond! Catching the sunset over the Capitol Wheel If I could I would spend every dang day reading in the Library of Congress. This picture does it ZERO justice. Me on my Capitol tour! They gave us headsets and herded us around like cattle! hahahaThe night we watched the sunset over the Potomac at The Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor. The resort was SO PRETTY. Another day, another sunset over the Potomac. The best breakfast EVER at Market Lunch. Georgetown Cupcake! Ended our trip on a sweet note 😉
