Happy Wednesday my loves! Okay. Before we get into today’s post (which I’m SO STINKIN’ EXCITED ABOUT) I’ve just got to say… who has heard the new Florida Georgia Line and Backstreet Boys song?! I’m so obsessed with it. I legit have it on repeat over and over and over.
Now I have another question for you…
How many of y’all are obsessed with Snapchat? I know for a fact I’m not the only one. Your girl loves that puppy filter more than life itself. (Shocking. I know.) Well what if I told you that you could create your own Snapchat filter for your big day?! You’d be so excited… right?!
Well, this Wedding Wednesday the lovely people at FTD (the flower company) reached out to me with the opportunity to do just that! And you guys are about to be SO IMPRESSED with what I’m about to show you!
FTD has done all the hard work for you, by creating 14 beautiful floral inspired filters to enhance your big day. All you have to do is customize by adding your names and wedding date, save, and upload. Check them out here!
And I’ve saved the best part for last… these beautiful designs are totally, completely, 100% FREE. Nope you’re not reading that wrong. It’s absolutely free to use these beautiful filters. However, there is a small catch. While the filter designs are free, uploading to Snapchat (using the Snapchat On Demand Geofilters website) will cost you some money. The prices will vary based on your location, how much space you want it to cover and how long you want it to run. Also note, you do need to pay for each filter you submit.
To show you just how simple it is, I’ve gone ahead and done a few filters of my own! You can check out how easy the process was below.
While you won’t be able to see them in action on the app (sorry guys, I love you, but I’m not paying $70 for the people in my apartment building to be able to use filters for a wedding date last summer) you should still add me on Snapchat at edmondss89 (or use my snapcode below!) and then let me know if you’re planning to use these beauties at your wedding later this year!

Head over to the FTD Fresh website (find it here!) and choose your favorite filters. Then Get to customizing!
Once you have them looking exactly how you’d like, save them to you computer. How cute are these? Ugh. I wish I’d had them at my wedding last summer!!
Now head over to the Snapchat On-Demand Geofilters site. You’ll have to put in your Snapchat username and password.
Pick the Use Your Own ghost and upload your newly saved filter.
Place your filter to show up exactly how you want it to on Snapchat.
Choose your dates and times.
And finally choose your location. You’ll then be asked to pay for your filter. Prices will vary.
