Weekend Roundup

Happy Happy Sunday everyone!

I hope this post finds you happy and well rested from a wonderful weekend.

Our weekend was pretty dang great!

On Friday night, we had a basketball game at Trev’s University. It was rivalry week, and everyone knows that the very best atmosphere for college sports is when they are playing their rivals!

We had a quick bite to eat before the game at Rosie O’Grady’s in Ferndale. If you’ve never been, you need their Pub Burger in your life. Seriously… so good!

After dinner we headed to the school and met up with Trev’s parents. It was great having them up for the game. Unfortunately, the Titans couldn’t pull off the win. But we had a great time anyways!

On Saturday, Trev headed to East Lansing for a quick conference, which meant I got to stay home and be super lazy. I spent my entire day watching Hart of Dixie and making Pins for my blog posts for Pinterest. (Ps… if you’re not following me on Pinterest, you should be! I loveeeee to pin in my free time! Saturday night was date night for us! We wanted to have our Valentine’s Dinner early, because one of Trev’s teams has a game on Tuesday. We went to Granite City at the RenCen in downtown Detroit. We’d been there once before for a party, and wanted to go back on our own. It was so dang good! We ordered from the appetizers menu because let’s be honest… there was no way we were passing up the chance to eat pretzels and beer cheese, agave chili wings and bbq chicken flatbread.

We ended our night with shamrock shakes (they’re back!) and watching Inferno. Oh man guys. If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to!! We LOVE the Professor Langdon books from Dan Brown. And while this movie wasn’t exactly like the book… it was still really really really really good!

We spent today grocery shopping, cleaning the house and doing laundry. Now we’re snuggled in and ready for the Grammy’s!

I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend. I’ll talk to you all tomorrow!
