Happy Sunday my loves! How was your weekend? I hope it was fabulous!
Mine was! I spent it doing NOTHING and I couldn’t be happier about it. Okay that’s a lie. I did a little bit more than lay around…
Friday night, I planned an at home date night for Trev and I. Our local grocery store has an Italian market right now, filled with imported goodies from Italy! So I stocked up on cookies, Italian soda anddddd a frozen pizza (I didn’t feel like actually cooking 😏 ) and set up a candle lit Italian dinner for two, complete with a YouTube video of Italian dinner music and scenes from Italy.
After dinner, we snuggled in for a movie. It was a perfect end to our work week.
Saturday got off to a bit of a rough start, but we made it to downtown Detroit for the North American International Auto Show. We go every year, and love it! I’ll be telling you all about it tomorrow, and giving you some tips and tricks for navigating the massive crowds. So be sure to check back for that! After the auto show, we headed for lunch and macaroons in Greektown.
The rest of Saturday was spent perfecting our newest DIY tutorial. If you haven’t seen our IKEA Rast Hack, you need to! Check it out here! We’re so proud of how our night stands turned out!
Today, we cleaned the apartment and laid around doing nothing. In fact, I’ve been in my PJs watching Hallmark movies since 4:00! And, since tomorrow we celebrate Martin Luther King, we don’t have work tomorrow. Which means, long weekend! I’m excited to head to the craft store and get the things I need for a fun center piece for our kitchen table.
