Hey there beautiful people! I hope you’re all having a wonderful and happy Sunday. I’m not sure what Michigan did to deserve such beautiful, sunshiney weather this far into November, but I’ll totally take it!
This weekend was so much fun! After a super stressful week with our move and so many things going wrong, it was nice to put it all behind us and have some fun. Friday night we went to dinner at Red Robin (your girl was straight up craving a tavern double!) and then headed up to Trev’s work to see the guys’ first home game of the season.
Saturday we did our traditional November trip to Frankenmuth! Every year since 2012 (our second Christmas season together) we’ve gone to Bronners and got an ornament with our names on it. Then we started getting ornaments when big events happened in our lives. We put them all on an ornament tree and it’s so fun to add new ones every year! This year, we got to add “Mr and Mrs” ornament! After Bronners, we always go to Frankenmuth Brewery for lunch, and Sugar High for dessert. It was a perfect Saturday. When we got home we totally decorated for Christmas. I know. You probably think we’re crazy! But we LOVE Christmas decor and just couldn’t wait! Besides, we’re going to be out of town every weekend now until after the first of December, so we wanted to put it up so we could enjoy it! We got a new tree this year and it’s so dang pretty. I just love it!
Today we headed down to see Trev’s family for the day. It turned out to be the Blissfield Yuletide Festival! We shopped around downtown and took a carriage ride. I wish I had a picture to share with you! We had a late lunch and now we’re heading back to our apartment.
