Cozy Summer Sweater

Don’t get me wrong. I LIVE for summertime. There is nothing I love more than laying out on the beach with a great book, working on my tan all day and cookouts and bonfires at night. But every year, towards the end of July (just for a few days), I start to long for fall. I can’t wait to break out my riding boots, sip hot cider and go to apple orchards. Then the sun comes out and I’m back in beach mode for the next month.

Luckily, this year, my “fall” mood happened to coincide with one of the coolest mornings we’ve had Up North in awhile. So I took this opportunity to snuggle up in my absolute favorite sweater right now and take a walk down in the marina.

You guys… this sweater is SO COZY. I’ve been wearing it a lot with white pants this summer. But it looks so cute with jeans too. It runs pretty big. I purchased it in a small, but honestly, the XS probably would have fit me a little bit better. Oh well, the bigger, the cozier right? I also love that it has massive pockets and the world’s biggest hood.

I hope everyone is having a happy Thursday! I’m currently in the middle of making the world’s best chicken noodle soup. You’re all invited to come over for dinner 🙂

Xx.

  1. Your sweater looks like the best thing to travel in! I’m obsessed with cozy layers that are still flattering and stylish but they’re so hard to find these days.

    1. It seriously is! Usually really big sweaters swallow me up, but you can actually tighten this on the sides with the two ties so it makes it a little more flattering! Plus it’s got big pockets and it’s really warm… which makes it perfect for airplanes 🙂
