Unconventional Honeymoon

My hubby and I just returned last week from our honeymoon. Honestly, I’m still walking around like a giant heart eyed emoji thinking about our vacation. We knew we didn’t want choose a tropical island getaway at an all inclusive resort like most honeymooners. We wanted to go the more adventurous route. Enter: The Canadian Rockies.

“Canada? You’re going on a honeymoon to Canada?” was pretty much every single persons response. We’d smile and say, “Yes Canada. It’s going to be really beautiful”.

And it was.

We spent a week in the absolutely breathtaking Banff National Park. We hiked, rode in gondolas, ate fondu, played on a glacier and did anything but lay on a beach and have drinks served to us. For us, The New Klumps On The Block, this was the perfect trip.

Over the next few Tuesdays, I’m planning to share detailed itineraries, tips for navigating the national park, and where to find the best accommodations, food and brews.
